God Provides

Playing catch up with some correspondence; here is another post for today, Saturday, October 8, 2016

This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it and remember “God will provide” is my thought as I reflect.
We started the day with a need of a place for our daily devotion time. The hotel needed $200 for an hour use of a conference room. Our budget did not allow for this expense. God guided our hostess to a coffee shop for our daily devotional that had a wonderful room on the second floor that was perfect for our devotional time together. One team member shared this was like having our own “Upper Room” gathering. We were there for more than one hour and the spirit of the Lord was present as we shared and reflected our thoughts on what is a sanctuary to you?  How did you as an individual see the concept of sanctuary thus far on our spiritual journey? My heart was lifted as I listened to my team members share. Our leader for today’s devotional had a very touching story that related to the importance of prayer. Again God provided such encouraging scripture to enhance this testimony.

God has provided us with caring people from Newark Airport to San Francisco. We arrived with wonderful airline staff directing us to our connecting flight. Once in Japan God provided a mode of transportation suitable for our group of 15 and 40 or more pieces of baggage.

God provided nice weather today to continue our spiritual journey. We visited Nara for the day to see the largest Buddha and a park with many deer. The deer are considered to be a very sacred animal to the Buddhist.

What a wonderful day to be on the grounds dedicated to the largest Buddha and largest wood temple in the world. I feel God has provided for many and we are truly to witness this. Our day will end with dinner and free time. May God continue to provide.
